The Hazel Project
The Hazel Project pays tribute to the music written or recorded by bluegrass pioneers and legendary musicians, Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard. Hazel and Alice tackled subjects from social injustice to the hardships of workers, as well as love and loss. With Betsy Green (fiddle), Gretchen Bowder (banjo), Whitney Roy (guitar), and Lindsay Lassonde (bass), The Hazel Project features sweet soaring harmonies and tasteful tunes – traditional grassroots music to fill your heart and soul.
The Green Sisters
Hailing from a small farm in rural Massachusetts, the four sisters were raised with music accompanying their chores. Their sound spans a wide range of bluegrass, barbershop, blues, country, and lots of original songs which fit right into the mix. They’ve been playing venues in New England regularly for the last several years and have garnered quite the following; it’s hard not to smile when treated with their tight harmonies and high energy tunes. Their live show is where they really shine, bouncing their jovial banter around the stage as only siblings can.
The Bottom Dollars
Featuring Dave Shaw on banjo & mandolin, Betsy Green on fiddle, and Tim Fitzpatrick on guitar, the three friends play a variety of old & obscure bluegrass songs, original numbers and fiddle tunes. You’ll be treated to lots of tight harmonies and lots of banjo & fiddle to boot!
Betsy Green Solo
I play a variety of Farmer’s Markets & other events on my own — you’ll here a lot of old-time fiddle tunes, guitar, bluegrass, folk and some original songs.
